PORTABLE INSTRUMENTS

Innerspec’s Integrated Systems are designed to provide automated and semi-automated NDT inspections in factory environments. These systems can incorporate unique sensors, instrumentation, software, as well as customized mechanical devices to integrate the inspection system with other equipment and processes. Our systems include at least one of our four basic NDT techniques (EMAT, UT, EC, LM) which can be used by themselves or combined with others to provide a complete inspection solution customized for each customer’s needs.

CODA (EMAT, DCUT, UT)
CODA is the first and only compact high-power UT flaw detector capable of working with both EMAT and piezoelectric sensors using Innerspec’s patented pulser technology.

VOLTA 2 (EMAT)

ACOUSTIC EMISSION (AE)
The Acoustic Emission NDT technique is based on the detection and conversion of high frequency elastic waves into electrical signals.

THICKNESS AND CORROSION MEASUREMENT (EMAT, DCUT, PAUT)
Thickness Measurement and flaw detection using EMAT and DCUT. Corrosion mapping with EMAT and PAUT.

MRUT – MEDIUM RANGE UT (EMAT)
MRUT provides inspection from 25mm to 3m with high-frequency guided waves. It is applicable to pipes, plates, and components with irregular geometries.

LRUT – LONG RANGE UT (EMAT)
LRUT provides long-range inspection of pipes using guided waves up to 100m. An alternative to inspection rings with greater penetration, versatility, and ease-of-use.

THIN WELD INSPECTION (EMAT)
Inspection of welds from 0.1mm to 6mm using EMAT-generated Guided Waves for fast, couplant-free volumetric ultrasonic inspection.

THICK WELD INSPECTION (EMAT, PAUT)
Inspection of welds thicker than 6mm (0.25”) with EMAT, UT, and PAUT ultrasonic techniques.

SURFACE INSPECTION (EMAT)
Fast inspection for detection of surface defects on most metallic materials.

BOILER INSPECTION (EMAT)
Semi-automated system for thickness measurement and Hydrogen Corrosion Cracking (HCC) for boiler tube walls.

ACOUSTIC EMISSION APPLICATIONS (AE)
Valve Lead Detection, Turbine Blade Flaw Detection, and Monitoring of High-Voltage Insulators using Acoustic Emission technology.
